MIFOLD GRAB AND GO BOOSTER SEAT REVIEW
Aside: I was always uneasy taking my son in taxis, ubers, and yes, even in rental cars because I worried about the booster seat factor. If he requires, by law, a booster seat in my car…shouldn’t he be in one in any other vehicle?! A portable fit-in-my-bag but safety certified booster seat is needed to make life with kids easier.
Shameless recommendation: the mifold is AWESOME.
Safety: The mifold Grab-and-Go booster seat is regulated under the most universally accepted global car booster seat regulations, specifically: European Union ECE R44/04; FMVSS 213 in the United States, and the RSSR regulations in Canada. (this is the most important factor to me)
Fit: It fits in a large purse or regular sized backpack. Narrow enough to fit 3 kids in a row in the backseat of even the smallest cars. (think: car pools and ride sharing to extra-curriculars)
Weight and Height of child user: Designed for ages 4 to 12, from 40-100lbs (18-45kg). Ideal for heights between 40 and 57 inches (100-145cm). (it fit my 6 year old perfectly)
Bonus: Big kids love it, since it doesn’t look like a baby seat.
I literally took me minutes to unbox and set-up. The easy-to-read instructions give you a step by step on how to properly install and fit the portable booster seat into any vehicle. Yes, I will absolutely take this grab and go booster in all of my taxi, uber, and car rentals from now on.
Scenario: you are going to Europe. You need a booster to get you from home to Canadian airport. Then, you need a booster for taxi/car when you are in Europe. The mifold can be used in both continents…and easily packed and unpacked in your backpack as a carry-on item.
And if a grandparent or friend need to pick up my son (or if I need to carpool one of his friends) — I can use this booster without hesitation.
